A free talk about menopause, mental health and suicide prevention

Description

This session brings together menopause, mental health awareness and suicide prevention - three areas that profoundly shape staff wellbeing, confidence and organisational culture.

Participants will leave with:

  • A clearer understanding of how menopause can influence mood, stress, communication and workplace confidence.
  • Practical insight into how mental health and suicide prevention intersect with menopause-related challenges.
  • Simple, safe approaches for supporting colleagues who may be struggling - without needing specialist training.
  • Confidence to start conversations and signpost effectively, even when topics feel sensitive or uncertain.
  • Perspectives from two experienced facilitators who work across mental health, menopause and workplace wellbeing.

This session is designed to give people useful awareness, language and confidence, not full competency - making it ideal for anyone who wants to strengthen wellbeing culture and better support colleagues.

Presented by Joy Goddard, Sally Bolton and Nell Blane
