We are pleased to share our recent experiences and exciting developments within the Maternity Equity Collaborative. It has been an enriching journey, from presenting our work at prestigious events to gearing up for the launch of our programme in South West London.
In the last few months, we are proud to have presented the work to esteemed audiences, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the monthly Maternity Equity Nuggets webinar.
Most recently we presented at the Behaviour Science Public Health Network annual conference in Liverpool on 20th February 2024. Despite the unavailability of our co-production partners, Nell admirably represented their invaluable contributions, embodying the collaborative ethos that underpins our mission. These engagements have provided invaluable platforms for sharing our insights, exchanging knowledge, and fostering collaboration within the maternal health community.
A highlight of the conference was undoubtedly Sir Michael Marmot’s compelling presentation on Health Inequalities. As a global authority in Public Health and Health Inequalities, Sir Marmot’s insights resonated deeply with attendees, sparking an atmosphere of enthusiasm and inspiration.
We are equally delighted to announce the imminent launch of our programme in South West London. This milestone represents a significant step forward in our efforts to promote equity and improve outcomes in maternity care. We are chuffed to have the opportunity to expand our reach and make a tangible difference in the lives of expectant mothers and families in the region.
As we celebrate these achievements and look ahead to the future, we are grateful for the continued support of our partners, colleagues, and peers. Together, we remain committed to our vision of advancing maternal and neonatal health equity and creating a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
